Herbert Julian
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Singapore, discovered his passion for photography in 2003. The vibrant streets of Singapore fueled his fascination with capturing fleeting moments and unspoken emotions. Initially a hobbyist, his love for photography quickly evolved into a professional pursuit.
Frequent travels to Japan, particularly Tokyo, sharpened his skills in fashion photography, transforming trends into timeless narratives. By 2006, Herbert's expertise expanded to encompass fashion, events, food, product, and wedding photography.
His talent gained international recognition in 2009 when he received the
International Fashion Photographer Award in NYC and became an Ambassador and Founding Member of JustProud.com. A year later, he transitioned to in-house photography, including becoming Jackie Chan's personal photographer in Singapore.
Herbert's journey continued with a notable performance in Singapore's "The Big Shot 2" (Mediacorp Channel 5), securing 4th place in 2011. By 2014, recognising the power of video, he began crafting compelling narratives for brands, enhancing their marketing success. His expertise led to a role as a Media Consultant for Interpol in 2021, shaping their internal media production.
